RE Village showcase

Capcom showcase Resident Evil Village, their eighth main title in our beloved survival horror series. New trailer, screens (official press below), and playable PS5 demo ‘Maiden’, highlight Transylvanian style Village and Castle scenarios, dripping in sinister atmosphere & gothic aesthetic. Vampyric banshees stalk escapee Ethan Winters, across the imposing Castle, with Spencer Mansion-esque candlelit corridors & mysterious rooms, ornately decorated in gothic flare; while the eerie Village haunts Ethan with pursuing werewolf stylised beasts.

Footage suggests a faster paced, action focused stage for the Village, reminiscent of the opening sections of Resident Evil 4 in both looks & gameplay, with the Castle stage offering more explorative survival horror.
